The pictures I want to share with you guys today are some of the plants growing in my garden, it does need a little bit of tending haha, I couldn't take a good care of it since I was away for a month, oh well.
The first photo is some weird berries that sort of look like micro tomatoes, hello friends from neighbors!
Aaaand the second one is one of the three sunflowers that I planted back in May, actually it is the only one that survived. I got this one growing for the squirrels, when the time comes, they are going to visit and harvest the seeds, fun time!
Perhaps taking part in this contest more often will teach me to become more creative when it comes to black and white photos, fingers crossed!

Hahaha! I already posted it and then went to look through it and was like... damn! I forgot to say what camera that was haha! I wish I had some better looking plants in the yard, but the sun killed most of them :(

I haven't taken black and white photography for ages, it really is a lot of fun, because composition becomes so much more essential . I especially like the sunflower - it's a great shot !

Can't wait for the sunflower seeds to become ready, last year they attracted so many squirrels, it was a great entertainment watching them eat haha

I also prefer color photography generally. But sometimes it can be fun with black and white to switch it up a bit. I think squirrels are one of the most welcomed animal guests in people's gardens hehe They really are delightful!

I have some black ones visit about every day and sometimes a brown one comes over. I have noticed that American squirrels have different ears too compared to Russian ones.

Yea you are right they look a bit different. This one in the picture has longer ears . I think we have the same kind of squirrel in Sweden as you guys, but I haven't seen one recently so I can't say for sure. In China where I live right now I have seen they sell squirrels as pet. It's hard to say which animals are okay to keep as pets and which are not, but for me I think the squirrels should be living in the free climbing trees and occasionally visit your garden and eat your sun flower seeds hehehe.

Yeah I agree, squirrels probably don't make a good pet, I mean if it is a pet in your yard and you have a lot of land and trees then sure, otherwise the animal will be just miserable.

I am not sure but I would not be surprised. In south China they have a saying ; "We eat everything that has legs and wings except for airplanes and tables" So I guess if you are an animal here you better hide deep in the forest. Do you have any Wolfs or beers close to where you live ? We have some in north of Sweden but I have never seen them in real life in the nature.

Great Photographs by you kotturinn, The weird berries and the sunflower both are unique .... The black and white shots are looking so nice, as its clear form both of your's creations .... the squirrels are so cute animal and you are lucky that these are attracted by your Garden...
