Landscapes
While looking through some photos of Iceland, I came across 3 that may have some black and white potential as well as qualify for a landscape. I hope that the sea/water in the pictures doesn't disqualify them. We'll see how that turns out.
All photos are made in Iceland, January 2017, with a Nikon D5200 with the kit lens 18-55mm.
Entry 1
This photo was taken at the Reynisfjara beach on the south side of Iceland
This beach is absolutely stunning, especially during the winter with the nice contract between the snow and the black sand.
Entry 2
This picture was taken at the Reynisfjara beach on the south side of Iceland as well, facing the different direction to capture these huge rocks emerging from the sea
Some people drown here every year, mostly tourists. The beach is famous for it's "Sneaker Waves", these waves are unexpectedly large waves which are much larger than previous waves which you normally see. You don't see them coming and if you are forced down by one of them, your chances of survival are slim as the water is very cold and the wave will drag you further in the sea.
Entry 3
This photo was taken near Selfoss
Selfoss is a very cozy town on the south side of Iceland. It's one of the few towns with some Schools and therefore it is the biggest municipality on the south side of Iceland with 7000 inhabitants. You read that right: 7000 inhabitants & biggest municipality on the south side of Iceland.

Big thanks to @daveks for hosting this contest!
Entry 2 is gorgeous, almost has a post-apocalyptic feel to it. Awesome.

Thank you very much @sierrakilobravo , I think Iceland is the most beautiful country I've visited so far. I would definitely recommend going there if you ever have the chance!
