This little Fledgling Female Kestrel Hawk was blownout of 90' palm tree next door by a gust of wind last Tuesday. She had enough flapping power to slow her descent and land sans injury. Cold and dehydrated was the vets report from the Pacific Wildlife Center in Morro Bay California where she'll live just long enough to get flying well and in a few weeks they'll release her right back here near the palm. When we found her she was on top of my sons car then tried for some oak tree branches but flubbed it and landed in the bed of my neighbors truck where I got her wrapped up in a towel and into a box and to real help the next morning.
