I had a Kenner 1990’s C-3PO figure sitting in it’s box for years and wanted him to look more like an expensive 1/6 scale Hot Toys or Sideshow Collectibles figure.

I used Tamiya acrylic paint for this custom. I painted the leg silver to match his movie look. Next I repainted his midsection a flat black and painted all the wires with gloss colors. I used a black/brown wash to give him the weathered look.
I have hundreds of 1/6 scale figures but sometimes don’t want to pay $250 for a background character.
This one was pretty easy and I paid only $15 for the figure when it came out.

Does anyone know how to post photos right side up and not sideways? Thanks. I’m a noob.
