Cadillacs and Dinosaurs:Co-op Playthrough

yeah smart move indeed it is always good idea to have multiple options. And even though I am on here I am still keeping my eyes peeled for other potential platforms. I hear Twitch responded to youtubes recent change you can get ads and partnership from them with a minimum of 50 followers. Not only that but they allow pre-recorded videos there now too.

And yeah the ads payed so little it took me years to get the 60$ I did from youtube and I had ads on all. You are right though we all need to find new ways to thrive and there are plenty of ways see good thing about the internet is one can be so flexible and creative or find different ways to do things. As far as steemit and dtube go for me for the time being before I jump into anything else on this site I wanna move what i had on youtube over to hear to possibly reach a new audience not only that but to also serve as a backup place for the vids that I did over the years just in case something happens to my youtube I have absolutely no backups of any of my vids I would be devastated if something happened to them. I spent hours upon hours of time doing them.

Sort Order:

Word of caution, I wouldn't reupload your youtube videos here or anywhere else. Google issued a warning to publishers early last year about duplicate content. If they find the same thing posted multiple times across the web, their algorithms will demote your rank across all their products and services.

This is why so many of those mega channels on youtube get a boat load of traffic from the suggested video feeds, but no traffic from youtube search and Google search engines.

Better idea: Syndicate your videos here in blog posts on Steemit using embed code from your videos, add additional pictures, and a unique description that differs from your youtube ones.

Now you have unique content again, and the blog posts here can rank in Google search!

This is the whole reason I'm not re-uploading any of Gamers Bay's videos here, and instead syndicating them in blog posts.

All the videos I did on DTube so far are unique only to DTube.

Ah even the very large channels are affected by this eh? I had no idea hmm now that you bring this up I need to when I get the chance to later on take a look in my own traffic sources and see where they mainly come from as of now.
