How to make layer cake

Ingredients :

  • 800 ml of coconut milk

  • 225 grams of rice flour

  • 125 grams of starch

  • 350 grams of sugar

  • 1 tsp fine salt

  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder

  • 1/2 tbsp pasta pandanus

  • 2 drops of green cake dye

  • 1 drop of brown paste

  • 2 pieces of pandan leaves

How to make:

  • prepare a steamer pot, give a clean napkin on the lid and heat it over a low heat.

  • Brush the baking sheet with cooking oil, then set aside.

  • Wash pandan leaves, then boil with coconut milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt while stirring until boiling.

  • Turn off the fire, remove pandannya leaves, and let stand so that the coconut milk warms up.

  • Mix rice flour and starch in a clean container.

  • When the coconut milk is warm, pour it slowly into the flour mixture while stirring with a wooden spoon until the dough is slippery and not clumped.

  • Take 1-2 tablespoons of dough vegetables, give chocolate paste, set aside.

  • Divide the dough into 2 parts and one of the dough is given green dye and pandan paste.

  • Layer dough ready for cooking.

  • Pour 1 spoon of white dough into a baking dish, cook for 3 minutes.

  • After 3 minutes, pour 1 spoon of green dough vegetables over the white layer, flatten and cook again 3 minutes.

  • Continue the process of cooking the layer cake by pouring the dough alternately to the desired color.

  • In this recipe, the chocolate dough is poured on the middle layer of the cake, then stacked again with white and green dough.

  • After all the dough is finished or a full pan, steam for approximately 20-30 minutes until the cake is cooked.

  • Lift the layer cake from the pan and chill.

  • Layer cake ready to cut and served.

Bahan-bahan :

  • 225 gram tepung beras

  • 125 gram tepung kanji

  • 350 gram gula pasir

  • 1 sdt garam halus

  • 2 sdm minyak goreng

  • 1/2 sdt vanili bubuk

  • 1/2 sdm pasta pandan

  • 2 tetes pewarna kue warna hijau

  • 1 tetes pasta coklat

  • 2 lembar daun pandan

Cara Membuat:

  • siapkan panci kukusan, beri serbet bersih pada tutupnya dan panaskan di atas api kecil.

  • Olesi loyang kue lapis dengan minyak goreng, lalu sisihkan.

  • Cuci bersih daun pandan, kemudian rebus bersama santan, gula, vanili, dan garam sambil terus diaduk sampai mendidih.

  • Matikan api, buang daun pandannya, dan diamkan agar santan menghangat.

  • Campur tepung beras dan tepung kanji dalam satu wadah bersih.

  • Bila santan sudah hangat, tuang perlahan-lahan ke dalam campuran tepung sambil diaduk dengan sendok kayu sampai adonan licin dan tidak bergumpal.

  • Ambil 1-2 sendok sayur adonan, beri pasta coklat, sisihkan.

  • Bagi adonan menjadi 2 bagian dan salah satu adonannya diberi pewarna hijau dan pasta pandan.

  • Adonan kue lapis siap dimasak.

  • Tuangkan 1 sendok sayur adonan putih ke dalam loyang, masak selama 3 menit.

  • Setelah 3 menit, tuangkan 1 sendok sayur adonan warna hijau di atas lapisan putih, ratakan dan masak lagi 3 menit.

  • Lanjutkan proses memasak kue lapis dengan menuangkan adonan berselang-seling sesuai warna yang diinginkan.

  • Dalam resep ini, adonan coklat dituangkan pada lapisan tengah kue, kemudian ditumpuk lagi dengan adonan putih dan hijau.

  • Setelah semua adonan habis atau loyang penuh, kukus selama kurang lebih 20-30 menit sampai kue matang.

  • Angkat kue lapis dari loyang dan dinginkan.

  • Kue lapis siap dipotong dan disajikan.
