Calexit is the latest trending topic to hit California as millions of people decide that they've had enough and want to make California it's own country by seceding from the United States.
They even have an organization dedicated to this California secession movement called Yes California and you can even find a couple of t-shirts with a CalExit logo on them here on Amazon:

As crazy as this idea sounds, who better to come up with a crazy idea like this than people from California?
The CalExit movement got widespread attention as it became a trending hashtag on Twitter #calexit and was also seen on Facebook.
Some people say that these Calexit people are simply upset at the recent National election results and that this amounts to a simple case of sour grapes.
Others are very serious about it and consider it a viable way to separate from a United States that conflicts with their left-of-center values.
Could this be a sign of things to come, or is it simply a bad case of election hangover?
