I am so grateful for the work our amazing Cal Fire Workers are doing and for the fact that they are literally risking their lives, buildings and homes were destroyed but so far and let's pray this continues no injuries. Homes and buildings can be replaced but people cannot.
Sadly one of the buildings that were destroyed was The Little Church in the Hill. Mariposa as you may know was another town built during the California Gold Rush so like Columbia, Sonora and other area this place has major history.
Like I said though I am more than grateful for the work our CalFire and Forrestrey workers are doing as well as the aerial bombers and the officers who are keeping us all safe.
I found out today a friend who lives in the path of the fire was evacuated, the fire was surrounding both sides of her house were surrounded by fire. I am praying her home is okay!
I feel so bad for all of those living in the areas of the fires. There are so many fires in Cali and I can't imagine what everyone goes through. Thank God for the fire fighters and rescuers. So sad that the church burned down. I hope your friends house is saved.
