FaZe Clan’s Dillon ‘Attach’ Price has released videos covering call-outs for Call of Duty WWII maps Flak Tower, Gibraltar, and Sainte Marie du Mont.
As we recently discussed, communication is a core skill for professional and aspiring Call of Duty players.
While there are many aspects that go into effective communication, call-outs are at the very heart – the allow teams to identify specific locations on a map quickly in a manner that everyone recognizes and understands exactly what is meant.
As long as everyone within a given team knows what is meant by each call-out, the call-outs themselves can be just about anything – they don’t necessarily have to conform to whatever call-outs are being used by other teams.
Pro players, however, have call-out designation down to a science – at the pro level, efficient and effective communication is key, and players that have been at the top for years often develop a knack for assigning short but memorable call-outs on new maps.
For those looking for a source of good call-outs to learn themselves, or simply those who wish to have a more clear understanding of what is being said during professional listen-ins, Attach has covered the call-outs for two more maps in the pool, after doing a video on Flak Tower.
For those especially interested, it’s perhaps worth keeping an eye on Attach’s channel for future videos covering the rest of the maps.
