To produce miracles, we have to get out of our own way. You might think of this as "letting go and letting God." The idea is that you surrender to a Higher Power. The word "surrender" is used to mean "open." If you open your mind, you will find you can do everything Jesus did-and more. The form of how miracles move through you will be unique to you. It is not necessary to walk on water, make the blind see, or raise the dead.
In fact, it is unrealistic to expect miracles to pass through you if you think you can dictate what the miracle will be. Let's say you want to heal yourself of a disease. Or maybe you're out of work and need employment. Perhaps a loved one is heart-broken over the death of a spouse or a child. Maybe you just drove by a dead animal on the road. It's possible you're terribly concerned about the world's issues: environmental, economic, and political. If you want to work miracles, it is not up to you to predetermine the solutions which may seem obvious to you. That is an unrealistic approach to miracle work.
