For Canada's 150th Anniversary, I did something very "Canadian" (1-Minute Video!)

Question: What two things do most people associate Canadians with?

Answer: Tim Hortons and politeness.

In honour of Canada's 150th anniversary (it's Canada Day today), I decided to combine those two things in a quick video!

Notes about the video:

  • The dude behind me only ended up ordering a coffee, so it wasn't too hard on my wallet!
  • If you've never heard of Tim Hortons, do some research. The coffee and donuts are next-level.
  • Sorry about the shaky camera... I'm still getting used to this video thing. I'll be better next time!
  • In the photo at the end, it shows a cup that says Rrroll up the Rim to Win. This is a special contest Tim Hortons launched for Canada's 150th Anniversary. After you finish your coffee, you roll up the rim of the cup to see if you won another coffee (or bigger grand prize). Rrroll up the rim typically happens in February of each year and lasts for about a month or two.

Happy Canada Day everyone!

Happy 150th Anniversary to Canada. I've heard of Tim Horton's but I haven't had their coffee or donuts yet. How does it compare to something like Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts? My favorite things about Canada are Canadian bacon, hockey, maple syrup, and the much better side of the Niagra Falls.

Haha nice! Bacon, hockey and syrup... that's pretty much all I need to be happy :)

I personally prefer Tim's prices to Starbucks, but haven't had Dunkin Donuts too often.

Happy Canada Day!

Happy Canadian day 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌹

:) Thanks!

great video, it's awesome when people pay it forward like that, I've seen that happen a few times working at Tim Hortons!! happy Canada Day

You worked there!? Awesome :)

Happy Canada Day!! :) lol nice video too.

Happy Canada Day!!

Thanks :)

Looks like a party to me!

Make me wonder what "United States of America Day" would look like. Burgers, obesity, and road rage? Lol

Haha, I know some pretty awesome Americans :)

Isn't your day the 4th of July? Any big plans for it?

Omg, duh. Hahahah

I think @shenanigator and I might go to a pool party! Or perhaps we'll grill some mahi-mahi shishkabobs and find somewhere to watch the fireworks. Didn't do much planning this year lol.

That all sounds fantastic!

Thanks!! You too!
