Higher Vitamin A Intake Decreases Skin Cancer Risk, Study Confirms

The benefits of consuming food that is rich in Vitamin A are well known. It is particularly essential for the healthy growth of skin cells. A new study from Brown University in Providence, RI, has shown that people whose diet was high in vitamin A also had a 17% reduction in risk for developing a popular type of skin cancer, namely squamous cell carcinoma.
