In the past, people did not live healthier and happier necessarily. There were all sorts of diseases and less access to variety of foods and nutritions. People died a lot younger. There is no magical past where everything was perfect.
There is some benefit in many foods and nutritions. However, presenting them as some sort of magic is wrong and misleading. The science behind a healthy life is very complex and often studies contradict each other. There is no silver bullet. You should not make unsubstantiated claims.
