I think this coming week I am going to embark on a creative journey and try and make my own candy apples like these ones in the photo but maybe with some alternate colors. I found all kinds of cool recipes online so you can make them any color and add glitter even to make them truly beautiful. Look at the purple one, the way it shines is just amazing and I'm sure it tastes just as good as any classic red candy apple. I think my favorite part is the base, how the candy and sugar spreads outwards and creates an awesome little stand. There is something about the texture that is very satisfying to look at, it looks soft and gooey but it's rock hard and can be snapped apart to have little bitesize pieces.
