The mites that tried to disrupt my chill seem to have been eradicated. I’ve been a little lazy on making teas for these beds & my lemon is looking very underfed.
Something new I am trying & probably should’ve tried earlier is supplementing with a 25% suggested use rate of calmag. Been watering with reverse osmosis water for a long time & seeing @jonyouder have some great improvements using a little calmag reminded me I need to try! My original plan was to occasionally add some raw well water to my waterings but changed my mind & never formulated a new plan as I have been getting great tasting results. But my plants have been showing some deficiencies so will be cool to see if this helps.

I am just glad that the rules have changed and now we can study this plant to learn of its full potential. Big Pharm lobbied to have it Schedule 1ed because it cut into their Cancer and Anti Depressant profits and it cost us year of time where we could have been learning about it. Now the FDA and DEA want to schedule 1 Kratom because it will cut into their monopoly of Pain Killers.

Yeah, google Agenda 21. It seems like on paper they want sustainable development but if you read into it a bit, it more like a Pagan Save the Earth from the People kind of thing. I never understood RO's popularity, the only possible issue of tap water is chlorine/chloramine pair, but you can neutralise it with compost tea easily.
The problem of RO is it's void of cations, that plants need, so you have to supplement them with Cal-Mag.

Tap water is different than untreated well water. My well water is contaminated with arsenic, an ro removes most of it. Next step is to get a specific arsenic pump for the water line but they’re expensive.
