A couple of White Querkle pics for your pleasure

in cannabis •  6 years ago

Basically, this is a backcross of White Widow x Querkle outcross to White Widow mother, that was made by my forum friend, who sent me the seeds

The plant looks pretty much like the famous sativa genotype of original WW. She's quite tall and stretchy, and grows spearheaded colas with a lot of trichomes. She has medium calyx-to-leaf ratio, and long fan leaves.

Smell is very earthy with a touch of mango and skittles, so full of β-myrcene, thus definitely on the indica side. She's in 7th week of flowering ATM, and will probably go two weeks more.

My White Widow is small but full of Trics. Sort of like a hash plant landrace. That seems common in America. I've never even really seen a tall White Widow.

Check Mr. Nice forum for Black Widow pics, which is the original White Widow bred by Shantibaba. You'll see a very nice sativa pheno, which is nothing like Afgani hash plant :)

Okay thanks I will.
Maybe someday I will get a White Widow closer to the original cut.

Love white widow, used to smoke it when a was a teenager. Dont know if the shops have a WW strain at the moment. That plant looks super frosty!! Would love to smoke it haha do you use a microscope to check the trichomes? What is your prefference amber with a littlle bit of milky or 50%50. I mostly do both one batch around 50/50 the other mostly amber trichomes

I do! My preference is about 90-95% milky, which means when I see them turning amber I chop.
