Yesterday was the chop day for my Sensi Star. She was bothered by mites, so I had to inspect the plant daily, and wash the suckers off. But the bud is a knockout 💪

The yield obviously sucked here, but then it always sucks with SS. She's a medium yielder at best, and can be hardly manipulated into producing more via nutes or bigger pot. She actually grew in a quite big air-pot, but she didn't use the extra root space.

The damage from baking soda didn't help either. I burnt the leaves, and she never recovered. She also threw a few nanners around mid bloom, which I carefully picked, and tossed.

All in all she was probably the most problematic plant I've ever grown. The worst pest magnet I've ever had to deal with for sure... but there are undeniable upsides to her weaker traits 🏡

My tester bud is incredibly strong, so all the damage she took didn't influence her sheer power apparently. And this is one of the reasons for SS reputation indeed!

Although everybody agrees, that she's a slow grower, she's sensitive as fuck to temperature, nutes and whatnot, the final result is definitely worth pain in the ass! She'll knock out even the toughest smokers! Getting high on Sensi Star is like letting a harvester go through your brain! Genuine lights out kind of bud 🌋

She looked quite sad by the end, cause I had to remove a lot of leaves fighting the mites

But the buds didn't look that bad after all

She's hanging over an open freezer now, which is how I keep the temperature down without having AC in my apartment

And that's the tester bud, which I picked 8 days before the harvest
