Cosmo's Factory on vinyl still has slightly more feel through my amplifiers.
I add capacitance to the power-filter circuit inside the amplifier which allows lower frequencies to pass with less signal attenuation.
Since I have to shop and order a pair of audio grade capacitors for one of my amplifiers, I will share. The process IS dangerous and requires a method of draining the existing capacitors before removal. The safe way is to use a ground wire with a resistance in series to prevent sudden discharge from the capacitor. Else many just use insulated pliers to short the caps to the case/chassis. The capacitors are usually very easy to identify in the circuit while replacements and upgrades can be ordered online. A way to have an average amplifier perform like a much more expensive model.
The cheap method is to recycle a computer power supply by removing it's 200 Volt capacitors to connect them in parallel with the existing capacitors inside the amplifier. This also does a good job of providing greater low-frequency fidelity to the source signal.
With preparation the amplifier should not turn into an ample-fire.
