There's something all over my leaves!

in cannabis •  7 years ago

Recently, I noticed some fine white specs or sparkles all over the top surface of my leaves!

What is it?

These 11-week-old pink kush girls have been grown organically from seed at 18 hours light per day.

Zooming in, I can see the dots reflect light, and are arranged between the secondary veins.

Even closer now, the microscopic dots appear to be shiny clear or white spheres.

Running my finger along the leaves gets it sticky. Upon smelling my finger the only word that comes to mind is "dank".

In any case, I'll update you all again soon. Suggestions are welcome. ; D <3

Do these rub off? Check under leaves to see if you see any damage. If its no to both of those things i want to say it could be just trichomes.

The undersides of the leaves are gloriously healthy. The dots don't rub off, but after brushing against a few leaves, my finger feels sticky like a piece of tape. The trichomes are here! :D

Nanobots bro 😱

a way to get rid of those is to apply a magnet two times a day for a week, then put tin foil on the top kolas of the plant! ;)

Tin foil on the top cola will pick up too many alphabet gang communications, stressing out the already susceptible to paranoia weed plant, creating a paranoid hi.

The magnets do help to slow the nanobots ultimate goal of forming a voltron like weed eeradicator, but I would still install jumper cables & a few car batteries to all of your pots after a good water. Then shock those little nano farkers

Very good string of advice, guys! Cheers!
I've just hung four half-pound standard U-shaped magnets (with the painted red tips) around the plant area. Pics coming soon ; )
I'm going to hold off on shocking the pots after watering, on safety concerns. More research needed here.

Haha we are going to stop these fuckers by putting our heads together, and combining our steem power!!!

I actually do know a guy that grows pretty great weed who shocks his dirt for pest prevention. Haven’t seen it in person, but he swears by it & he is successful. I would never

i would be afraid it would kill the beneficial stuff.

Hahaha.... wait, really? hehe
I've been waiting for them for YEARS! :P

I'm in love!! <3

What is it? I dunno, but you'd better collect it and give it to girlsofgreen for safe-keeping hehehe. Stunning photos - could have also gone in the photography section.

Right on Bro!I grew a beautiful plant this summer outdoors it was 11 week pink.I love to share the picture on your post but I am asking first don't want to spam your post.

Let's see it buddy! On-topic photo comments are appreciated here on my pages :)

I grew a few plants.I live in the country and every other year corn is planted 50 ft from my door so it is very convenient to stick a couple of plants in the field. This plant was right on the edge of the field so it could get max light. It turned out beautiful.

That's a great photo! Vibrant and exciting colouration!
Sounds like it was getting what it wanted from the soil, good airflow, and lots of natural light. What more could a magical medicine flower ask for?

I had to pull it about 5 to 7 days early the thrasher was coming.Fkn drag, still turn out well could be slightly better in strength.Beautiful white ash burns perfectly.

Sounds perfect.... if it's not very strong, just have a second joint : )

Yeah i think thats acceptable and you asking first is pretty respectful! You deserve a follow

Those are trichomes. There's a kind (three kinds I think?) that sits on the surface with no stalk. Very nice!

Thanks! I take it as a sign that the girls are healthy and happy : )

That's crazy... And definitely keep me updated on the issue! Wow! Haven't seen that before.

Closest guess is spider mites but if you can scrape them off?

Wow... Must know more!

Heheh so curious about the trichomes eh? I wish you could smell them :)

Maybe you should go get some neem oil and spray the shit out of it just to be safe.

Possibly white powdery mildew. A fungal disease that affects a wide range of plants.
