Well its day 3 of making my own bHo cannabis oil and I am on batch # 3. so the mistake I made with batch one is I overcooked it with a heating pad so its a little burnt but it turned into shatter so that's a good thing batch 2 I froze the butane to see if that did anything and I purged without the heating pad it turned out a golden brown color was way more smooth and had a lot more flavor. For batch # 3 I filled the tube with flower then froze the tube the flower and the butane in the freezer for an hour, I then took it out back blasted and got a more golden blond color the color I've been hoping for so I have found that freezing it all before blasting really helps. I then purged it for 12 hours and when I woke up today it was ready to turn into a slab I now have it getting a heat treatment so that I can purge any last bits of butane out. I will update later today and show pics of the process of purging it
So freezing it first helps. Very cool to know.
