You'd be surprised to find out how many old folks around you have been smoking pot every day for decades. And old folks are used to guys like Trump. When you see legalization votes in the 40%+ range, you know it's not just "them kids", and it's not just lefties.

It's actually the moms. Mothers of every stripe think that it could be easier for their kids to buy pot if it's legal. We need to get them to understand that school is the easiest place in town to score any drug. What kid can't buy pot? Seriously, think about it. Try to describe that kid. Is he the sheriff's son? Ok, well he has friends, right? C'mon. Is he some wretched super geek? Hey, his money is good, right? C'mon.

The choice is between your kid's money going to finance gangs and crime or ... the local dispensary where they pay rent and taxes.

It's not so much about political stuff. Lots of conservatives want prohibition gone. It's just stupid.
