PHI Group, a Las Vegas based company, will invest in my country, Romania in a project of a medical cannabis culture destined for the US market. The plantation will be in Transylvania and would earn 150 million dollars in 2019.

Medicinal marijuana is legal in our country, but there is no cannabis based medicine on the Romanian market, nor is there any request for marketing such a product. See a more detailed post about that.

Unfortunately for me and for my country, Romania, all the cannabis produced here, will be sold in U.S. where the market has exploded and you all know that.

In Europe, only Spain, Netherlands, Slovenia or Portugal are states that tolerate consumption and cultivation within a limited number of plants.

Romania, together with Norway, Polona or Turkey, comes under the heading "It is legal only for medical purposes". But it is illegal to cultivate. What a joke!

PHI Group will not only plant cannabis but will build an industrial park in Transylvania, a green house for organic farming and medicinal plants, creating a joint venture with a Romanian company.

PHI Group was established in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1982. The Fund invests primarily in agricultural, energy and natural assets, also providing merger and acquisition consultancy services through its PHI Capital Holdings subsidiary.
