I noticed recently that the smoke coin has been taken off coinmarketcap.com. I am not sure if this was something that they did intentionally or if it was a mistake. I went ahead and submitted a report to them that this was a mistake and that the token sees some volume on rudex and has a very active community behind it.
Being on coinmarketcap is not the end all be all, but it's a good marketing tool. We want to see this token listed for visibility purposes and to pull more users and investors into the platform. Drop a comment if you have any information on why this may have happened!

Yes I can. Had you bought 1 BTC last year you would now have 80% less fiat. whereas if you had bought SMOKE you'd still have about the same

Also I don't agree. If you'd bought smoke a year ago in large quantity, you'd have lost 99% of your value, because there is no market with sufficient liquidity to cash out without driving prices to 0 if your a big holder.

I don't really look at Smoke as a store of value. It represents stake in the DPoS Smoke.Network just like Steem. It has value to it's users. It isn't by any means a competitor to bitcoin.
