Black Destroyer and Colombian Gold Update

in cannabis •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hello, cannabis lovers!

A few days ago, in New Cannabis Grow!, I introduced you to two plants I'm growing--Black Destroyer and Colombian Gold.

Well, here's an update. They're both doing well, and I've decided to LST one of them and manifold the other. Black Destroyer is undergoing LST (low stress training) and Colombian Gold was topped on Wednesday for manifolding.

Tutorials for both training methods can be found below, on the Grow Weed Easy website.

  1. LST
  2. Manifolding (Main-lining)

Anyway, here's Black Destroyer a couple of days after I pulled her over to the side of the fabric pot. She seems happy.

She was very slightly showing early signs of nutrient burn yesterday, so I flushed the coco with pHed RO water and CalMag. I'm thinking about running her all the way around the edge of the fabric pot as she grows.

Colombian Gold was topped right above the third node.

This was her before the topping:

And here she is after the topping:

The two growth tips in the middle have since grown a bit.

Anyway, I'm growing four plants (one of which still needs to be introduced) and I'm manifolding three of them. Black Destroyer is the only one that's undergoing low stress training with no topping whatsoever.

Be sure to stick around, as I'll be introducing you to...well, I'll leave it for my next post.

Happy smokin'. 😎
