Weed Weekends Episode 1 [New Steemit Exclusive Weed Series]

Hello, and welcome to Weed Weekends, my new, weekly cannabis-focused Steemit photo blog series. The plan for this series is to feature photos of the strains I'm consuming this weekend.

First up, a bit of background info: I'm fortunate enough to get my hands on quite a few new and exciting strains each week, and do my best to feature them on the ISMOKE Youtube Channel.

However, I struggle to fit it all in sometimes, and there are plenty of strains which get missed, or that I've featured before, and many strains which get smoked before I get around to featuring them.

I've been looking to launch a Steemit exclusive series since joining up just over a week ago, and think this could be an excellent way to feature more cannabis strains and share them with you, as well as documenting it all for my own records.

Here it is guys!

1. Gorilla Glue

This Gorilla Glue came vac-packed in an eighth, and the buds look fantastic. Quite dusty looking rather than sparkling, the close-up above (and cover photo for good reason) shows the vibrancy of the colours in this sample!

I'm cutting it open now to smoke this sample. I was fortunate enough to try a GG X ODV 3 cross last week named Super Orange Glue, which was lovely.

AK47

I can't believe I'd never tried this old school powerhouse indica strain. I love this AK47. This sample came in a baggie (old school in itself, I normally get pop tops or vac packed)

I hit a bong of this last night when I got home from the Friday session with London Smoking Club and it knocked me out.

I didn't initially plan to pick this strain up, as I had planned on purchasing some Pineapple Chunk, but when I smelled this one I immediately changed my mind, and I'm glad I did.

I love how bright the pistils are on this one. Here's a super close-up:

I'll definitely be doing a review of AK47 in weeks to come, look out for that on the ISMOKE Youtube Channel

3. El Chapo OG

Last up this episode it's El Chapo OG, another OG strain I'm quite fond of.

I first tried this one last week at a coffeeshop in London and went back for more last night.

This is a great example of a gassy, earthy OG strain which I believe is named after quite a famous Mexican Drug Lord. I'm not sure who gave it that name, but I can say it is a very enjoyable cannabis strain!
