Following on from yesterday.
TVR dates from 1946 and has always been based in Blackpool. It has, however, had a troubled life and changed hands several times. Even changing into other companies at times.
Sagaris this Car was launched in 2005. Fitted with TVRs own straight 6 4.0l producing 406bhp. Able to do 185mph and 0-60 in 3.7secs. It comes in some outstanding colours. I do like the dark yellow.
Tuscan another fast car 0-60 3.7secs.
The company was brought in 2013 by Les Edgar and John Chasey and they have been working on a new Griffith model.
Les Edgar is the one at the back.

The car was launched at the Goodwood Revival this year. Using a 5.0l Coyote engine. This has been worked on by Cosworth and using a lightweight flywheel and dry sump produces 30bhp more than the standard engine’s 420bhp.
It also uses a carbon fibre chassis and bonded panels onto a space frame to keep the weight down.
It does look great and the side exhausts make it stand out. Lots of aerodynamics underneath to keep it stable at 200mph.
They have come a long way from the original Trident produced in prototype only in 1965. 4 were made.

all photos my own. The lighting at the car launch was very bad. Spot lights lit only parts of the car and placed very dark shadows on the rest.
