It never ceases to amaze me, the kindness of strangers. While it is not unusual for someone to stop and help, it certainly feels good that someone does.

So, it is such an easy thing to pass on, this generous, wonderful feeling. I know you already do in your everyday life. You make me feel good when you come over to my post and hit everyone who comments on it. Yes! Every time you do it, it makes me want to do the same for others and pretty soon, there is so much kindness, we are tripping over one another.

You get my point. What goes around, comes around!!

Sorry for the incidence and did you get your picture????

Hmm... nope, didn't get the memory card before it got dark.

And today I just didn't seem to have any time to go out shooting.

@gamer00,
Aren't you using snow tyres for the car? Anyway it's glad to hear that young lady helped you out!

Cheers~

If you tried driving with regular tires in the same way you drive with snow tires, you'd be totally crazy. It's incredibly dangerous to drive without snow tires without metal studs in them adding grip on snowy and icy roads. Practically nobody does it here. The snow tires are mandated by law here.

Well I for one don't have metal studs in my snow tyres and drive pretty well without them... as long as I don't get snow blindness and hit an invisible snow pile. ;D

I've had the studless snow tires once. They're good for snowy roads but once you encounter icy roads, you're in trouble.

Heh, yes I am. The problem was the car was too deep in the snow. We wouldn't be driving much if we only had Summer tyres. ;)

That kind of thing totally sucks. I almost got stuck too last week. I took the wrong turn and ended up on quiet street and proceeded to turn the car around. A drove slightly downhill a couple of meters into the driveway of a property lot on the side of the road. I came very close to not being able to back up from the driveway.

For me the first one where I almost got stuck was when I photographed the European roe deer, a similar thing happened, although I actually parked my car in the snow.

Today I almost stuck two times before this happened. Anyway, what I hate most about the whole debacle, was that I couldn't use my camera.

I haven't left my memory card home for quite some time now. It's become routine to check whether I have it with me each time I leave the house. Just like I always keep checking if I have my wallet and my phone.

Wow! You are so lucky to have the lady’s help!! What a day!! At least you had all the excitement for the whole week!

Wow the snow is really causing alot of problem where you are, the help of the snow is worrisome and I am glad that you finally was able to remove your car from the snow. From your photos the snow is really falling heavily the weather is cold and frozen also @gamer00

Sorry for what happened @gamer00. Nice car though!!!

Thanks! Btw. Leo took (and edited) a pretty nice photo of the car.

Oh the memory card happens way too often to me! I get so angry at myself every time it does. I have 2 cards so that should be enough. I am too cheap I guess to buy more lol.

Bad break on getting stuck! Get a shovel and a few bags of salt! Works wonders! Better luck and hope you dont get sick!

The feeling of helplessness sucks. Lucky someone came around, but there is always the tow-truck to call.

Tow trucks cost at least 80€ and can take a considerable time to arrive. Not very appealing choice. ;)
