In this video I’m going to go over why I am comfortable using this as a pressure canner, and what it can do. I will be doing a video in the next couple of days of me actually using it.
First off, a little back story on my situation: I have a glass stove top, so the traditional pressure canner isn’t going to work indoors. While some glass top stoves will work for pressure canning, I was given the “no go” from the wife.
I also have plans on getting an outdoor propane burner and an all American pressure canner in the future, but that comes with it’s own set of challenges.
In this video I explain a few reason why I am perfectly comfortable using the Carey Smart Canner for pressure canning low acid meats and vegetables.
