Tonight was a first, I finally got the guts to try beef tongue. I cooked it in the instant pot for 40 minutes and pan fried the thin slices after removing the skin in butter. Was super rich and fatty, most is becoming leftovers.

I never thought I'd try tongue and while it's not my favorite I'm definately not scared away.

Eating organs is supposed to be very good for you. Eat the heart, eat the liver, eat the tongue. You just have to learn how to cook each one. Also, if you know any hunters, ask them what they don't normally save. I had a coworker who saved me the heart(most hunters toss this). It was delicious.

All of those are weird bits but Im willing to try if they actually are good lol. Can only do a small amount of tongue myself lol.

You might want to cook it longer. When I had deer heart I cooked it all day in the crock pot. Makes it much more tender and absorbs the flavor of the other ingredients.

Possibly it was incredibly rich.

Gross. lol

there ya go, dont be afraid of the cow people and their investment into humanity... the 15 dimensional cow people gave us their forms to eat and we will be taking cows to Mars, no way around it.. prize cows will get cow space suits same with chickens and dolphins

@spiftheninja yeah the top part looks ok and smooth but the flesh part of the bottom is like ahhhhhh
