Car Service Day in Sri Utama Honda Auto Express

Today I went to Sri Utama Honda Auto Express, a​ newly expanded Service Center that mainly deal with servicing car for my car service appointment at 8 AM​, it's located​ at opposite of PV 20 Condominium and ​5 minutes short walk from the main Sri Utama Service Centre.

This Auto Express Service Centre​ just opened 2 months​ recently which house a Front Reception​, Service Desk, Customer Waiting Lounge, 8-Service Bay and Car Wash Bay. The whole area is​ very spacey compare to the Main service centre.

Reach there approximately at 8.05 AM as the second customer of the day, and proceed to drop​ my key at the service counter. Took a few minutes of car checking and mileage record before the Service Advisor serves me through the checklist and job list​ for my car maintenance.

​I was quote a whooping RM 1.1k service job list for my car's major service but was managed to reduce back to RM 800+ by removing the unnecessary item that wasn't in my maintenance booklet.

I have been​ given a time​ estimation of completion maintenance around​ 11.30 AM. After confirming my job list, the ​mechanic then proceeds​ to move my car into the service bay.

Usually, people will just wait in​ the lounge while their car is​ being serviced by the crew but I do not leave the car out from my sight usually and there's always photo capturing now thanks to Steemit.

Today's maintenance is a Major Service which includes​ many service list such as,

• Engine Oil Change
• Oil Filter Change
• CVT Fluid Change
• Fuel Filter & Strainer Replacement
• Chassis Tightening & Undercarriage Checking
• Tyre Condition & Tyre Pressure Checking
• Battery Test Checking
• Brake Pad Checking
  

My car was assigned to 2 mechanics​ to do all the above service as is going to take quite a while for one mechanic. Maintenance job started at 8.30 AM when my car was parked at the hydraulic​ car lift and was told that my brake pads​ left about 4mm thickness.

Add in new CVT Fluid, look at the color different

After the completion of all the maintenance job, my car was sent over to the Car Wash Bay to be washed as it has been more than a month since my last car wash and I killed a few (more than 20) bugs along the way to Singapore back & forward.

Is been a while since the rim look so shiny

Once the car wash is done, my car is sent​ back towards the inspection bay for after service checking by the Service Advisor before proceeding to hand back the car key to me.

Saw this Yellow wrapped Honda Civic FC while on walking back to the waiting lounge

Exactly 10.30 AM which is 1 hour earlier than the expected,​ I've been called to claim my key back and make my payment of RM 825.50. Overall it's a smooth and satisfied process for this car service and off I go.
