Why buying an electric car still doesn’t make sense (for most of us)

Oh I completely agree, and I'm doing my best to be a part of that change. I just realize with the general public change often happens not because it's the right thing to do, but because there is a financial benefit to the consumer. My main mode of transportation does indeed get terrible fuel economy, but factor in me working from home and not driving much beyond our towing adventures and it's not so bad.

What amazes me is the number of people with horribly inefficient vehicles that drive tens of thousands of miles per year and never once seem to think about it!

True, for me if people really thought about it that way, it would change the world, unfortunately most people are to busy trying to make a living or perhaps watching TV to get it.

Thanks and good luck with Steemit.

Agreed! Thank you!
