in cars •  7 years ago

I searched for the cheapest Japanese sports cars sold in the last two weeks. I kept the prices under $2500 USD, which I think is pretty cheap considering!

Model : Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4
Year : 1997
Engine : 4G63T (133,000km)
Sale Price : $2152

Model : Nissan Silvia S15 Spec S
Year : 2000
Engine : SR20DET (214,000km)
Sale Price : $1343

***Model : Nissan Silvia S14 ***
Year : 2000
Engine : SR20DET (228,000km)
Sale Price : $1371

***Model : Mitsubishi GTO VR4 ***
Year : 1997
Engine : 6G72 (93,000km)
Sale Price : $990

***Model : Subaru Impreza WRX ***
Year : 1997
Engine : EJ20T (99,000km)

Do you think these cars were cheap? Would you have considered buying any of them?

Damn not bad at all price for that GTO!

ikr! Pity it's the N/A model

That is chump change! Are the cars still in Japan and need to be shipped on top of that price?

They're still in Japan, so roughly another $1200 USD for shipping and then obviously duties, VAT/Tax and then reg.

GC8 for me, i'll have the chassis spot welded, repaint mica blue, remove the rear seat and engine rebuild. If i can get my hands on it

If you were going to go to that extent then there were cheapers ones with bad interiors, I saw one for $590 USD.. high mileage crap interior

interior is not an issue! haha... that is what i am planning to do with my upcoming projec

i think this is nice car and you are permoting this car modle 1997 and sale price is suitable and this is best choice those who effort thanks

these prices are outrageous! Didn't know the S15 could be so cheap!!

The more high end examples are obviously a lot more expensive $4.5k-$8k but this one just has a lot of mileage on it :)
