Nina Wolmark made some bold choices in storytelling. I’m not sure if the group shared a dream caused by the mask Matt and Rebecca pieced together or were actually transported into another time. Once the kids were awake they were able to see Spartakus fight the guy with the whip. It was also good to see Spartakus get hot headed in this one.
