Project: Casemod - Hardware@Wall - MDF panel

Habedere Steemians,

today I show you the first modifications of my MDF panel.

If you missed the 3rd part (spacers); here it is:
Project: Casemod - Hardware@Wall - Spacers

The core element of the mod is a 16mm thick MDF panel.

I printed out my CAD document and fixed it with some tape to the MDF.

After that I centre-punched all holes for the mounting of the components, the LED Strips and all breakthroughs for the cables.
Then I drilled and cut everything.

I marked and drilled all holes to mount the frame to the MDF panel.
The black and white color in the photo was just a little test.

A cutout was missing on the main panel, so I transferred the info from the CAD document to the MDF panel and cut it out.

I also used my router to add a little groove to this area.
This will be for my inlay (which is another part of this project)

What's next?

I'm going to work on the overlay.
Servus and cu next time.
