Today bunnypuncher's family lost one of our cats. RIP Mr. Sif you will be missed.

This was the kitten I named and was my favorite. I originally named him Lady Sif (from Thor) until we took them to the vet and found out he was a Mister not a Miss. So we change his name to Mister Sif once in a while we would call him Darth Sif. I'll miss him so much I can't believe this happened. I didn't get to say goodbye. He was hiding and Mrs B. took him to the vet so I never said goodbye. I never thought this would be the outcome. Dam that sucks. I'm such a terrible cat parent :(

RIP Mr. Sif

We had 5. Now we will have 4.

Oh no :(

Oh My Goodness how innocent eyes. I can understand how tough it would be for the bunnypuncher family without this lovely cat :(

Sorry to hear about your kitten.

Sorry for your loss mate.

We will miss you Mr. Sif.

My condolences. I wish I could keep cats but the missus won't permit animals in the house.

BTW, I thought bunnies were afraid of cats. ;-)

Maybe but I faced down that fear long ago and got over it. Never thought I would end up a cat person. First half of my life I was only a dog person. Mrs B got me to become a cat person over the years.

I had a cat for several years growing up and thereafter. I'm also used to dogs. I can't really say that I prefer one to the other. Cats are lower maintenance, which was important when I had one. Both species are intelligent, with variable personalities. Part of the joy of being around them is experiencing their personalities. Playing with them is fun. Giving and receiving affection is a joy. I also train them easily. Dogs are easy to train because they want to be part of the pack. Cats are easy to train but difficult to reward. I even managed to train my cat for negative commands, which was useful at times, especially when he ran out and I had to search for him and bring him home.

I'm really sorry. That's tough when you lose one of your furry friends. It's not an easy thing at all. :(

Thank you. It isn't easy as to be expected. But it is so much harder than I would have thought. I guess I don't like to admit how fond of the cats I am.

I'm sorry. :(
