But now the massive moggie is in line to be crowned the world’s longest cat.
His owner Stephy Hirst from Melbourne in Australia started an Instagram account for Omar two weeks ago, and his popularity exploded.
The cat, a Maine Coon, measures 120cm from nose to tail and eats kangaroo meat from the supermarket.
Stephy said he is mischievous and is capable of opening doors, kitchen cupboards, shower screens and wardrobes.
She told The Herald Sunn the couch because he takes up too much room on the bed and he demands we cuddle and pet him all through the night.’
