Cats, everyone loves them. If you either have a young, cute and energetic kitten or an old grumpy cat who does nothing but sleep all day these tips and tricks will surely come in handy one time.
1 Giving your cat milk isn’t always a great idea.
We all want to spoil our little purry friend one time, but milk might not be the best solution for that. Reason: many cats are actually lactose intolerance so giving them milk may give them a stomache. Luckily there are other options like toys are special candies for cats.
2 Cleaning hairs.
Hairs. Hairs! Hair everywhere!
If you have a cat you surely recognise this problem, your furnitures clothes and floors are covered in hairs. Here are some simple tips to remove them.
When removing hairs from funiture use a soft cloth and furniture polish.
When removing hairs from clothes the best solution is to buy a special tool for it. These are some good ones, Oxo’s furlifter and Furminator furflex. Rubber gloves will also do the trick!
If the hair is on an carpet the vacuumcleaner is your saviour, go over areas twice and in different directions to get the stubborn hairs out of the way.
When removing from wooden floors use an electrostatic mop .
3 Invest in a scratching post.
Save your sofa and help your cat. They might not seem like it but scratching posts are very important for your cat.
-Cats exercise by climbing up the post this is very handy for inside cats
-As your cat grows their claws also grow. Cats remove the sheath on their claws by scratching so they can expose their new sofa kille- cough, claws.
4 Don’t buy the the cheapest food.
Sure, you can save a lot of money by buying cheaper food for your cat. This increases the chance of needing to go to a vet and decreases their health and lifespan.
5 Marinate old toys in catnip.
Does your cat not play with old toys you bought for it? Put the toy in a plastic bag with catnip and shake, leave it closed for a couple of hours and your kitten will play with it once again.
