Mining new ZIXCoin

What is it about

Today at 18:00 we face the launch of new ZIXCoins. The algorithm is "QUARK" which is supposed to be ASIC-resistent and we will be able to mine using CPU or GPU Miner from the very start!

Testnet

I've tried CPU and GPU miner at cryptocoinerpool which was already setup for ZIX, yesterday. Setup seem to work nice. Since the wallet is to be released on launch we have to wait for a real payout address. I tried with one found on discord they test with. I remove this in the commandline posted below to ensure you will not mine for someone else.

Your Setup

Use the miner that fits for your hardware.
You might prepare a .cmd or .bat file or an alias for Linux
The command-line should look like this:
ccminer-x64 -a quark -o stratum+tcp://cryptocoinerpool.de:4033 -u youraddress -p c=ZIX,stats
replace the pool with your favorite one. cryptocoinerpool works fine for me and fee is 0.5% only. There is no registration and your payout RX-Address is used as username.

Todo

Compiling the wallet (sources on github are available) and begin early will be of no use since they going to reset the blockchain on launch! Better relax and wait. Compiling on MSYS for Windows is a pain in the ass anyway!
