The floods has been devastating my town alone, most of the roads in Barrios are unpassable if not submerged in flood. It does not surprise me because our Town and most of the towns around are near the river which only means that we are in the lowest parts of my island because of course the rives go in the path of low levels. As I had said in some of my posts, my town itself is one of the catch basin here in the central part of the main island so if it would get to flood in the provinces north of us, the river would swell and also would cause great floods.
But I was born here and it is just difficult to move because it is not in our tradition to relocate more often for the reason of its cost. It is not in our plan to move but my plan is to at least build a new house over this old one. Its only effect was to make us all dry if great floods like this happens, but still nothing will change in our surroundings but will still continue to get worse because of global warming which has an effect of unrelenting monsoon rains that causes flooding over my town alone while other provinces are experiencing worse outcome and it is not funny anymore.
The problem for me is my access to the dialysis center, it seems that some of the paths are deeply submerged in water. We only have a sedan for transport and it cannot pass through such obstacles because of its low-lying engine not to mention the transmission and clutch mechanism will definitely get ruined. So I am afraid that my father would not be able to drive me through and accept the fact that I will not get dialyzed rather than find ways to transport me but we might find some ways to make it happen though and I was thinking that we can use the old AUV transport vehicle of my brother.

I am not sure if my Barrio's emergency ambulance could be used for the purpose but it can be used for as my transport vehicle although I am still not sure if it really can. But one thing is that I can never last for so long not getting dialyzed or skip dialysis because I am not getting a quality dialysis already. The toxin build-up in my system will slowly kill me for that reason which can be possible to happen if the floods would get get far more worse than it is right now.
The town from which I get my dialysis is also under the state of emergency because of the severity of the floods, their town will also get some help from the national government. However the government in general can help much and it doesn't mean that the need of the people would be solved because they are just giving out some foods or cash, maybe the evacuation centers helps but I rather have no government support and have an ease of travel rather than having basically trapped in our own homes without much prospect when it floods than benefit from small items with no chance to get help daily when it is flooding all around and inside our homes.
