My Home cats Mochu and Garu

This is a heart-warming cat personal story and I am feeling so pleased to share it around. It happened about 4 days back, that after getting my teeth set right and buying a few things, I came to my flat. Generally I just go to my home without halting for cat sightings much because stray cats that I generally see, run away when I try to reach out to them. Past few days have been a little sad, because I lost few teeth and had two extracted, one filling on another tooth was put, I just felt that I lost something precious. Already I have lost 5% of my teeth, just having touched my mid thirties, not cool. Anyway. However, this cat incident made me feel so loved(:

Very cooly, was a brown shaded young cat, perched underneath a parked car that first looked unfriendly but after I meowed back to it, the cat reciprocated and after some rally of meow’s from both sides, this cat rubbed passed my feet, then rolled over, showing it’s belly. Oh My Gord!!! This catty has got so friendly and trusting of me, it touched me so much that I decided to feed it, procuring some Meow dry food from my home 4 floors above.

Boy-o-boy this cat was quite hungry, it finished one hand serving of dryfood and was ok to have it’s second serving.

The cat then emerged tall to it’s fullness standing fully upright, looking straight at me, with friendly meows and an avalanche of dashing and rubbing itself against my legs. It was a cat love that stung my heart, especially at times when I was feeling low(: . I petted it, as it eat, all the time the cute kids on the ground commented that the cat was cute. So it happened that a little girl emerged, expressing her willingness to pet the cat, seeing that I had some connection with the cat, she asked my permission to touch it. I ofcourse just recently got acquainted with the cat, even though it acted like it knows me since it’s childhood, not that this cat looked big,it must be around 4 months of age.

The little girl touched the cat sweetly cajoling it, “It’s ok… baby”, far from being afraid of her, it took to her pettings(: and settled down close to her. With that the kid told me that this cat has been around the flat premises for a while, it came front of her house, she tried to play ball with the cat, but some action of her brother drew the cat away. This was good news, maybe this cat is settled to be a flat cat?.

Soon this cat, got love from not just one little girl, another little girl too joined, both sitting side by side to the cat and petting it.I was free to leave. I have two cats at home and my white cat Mochu has not had all its doses of vaccinations, in its first dose, it bit me driving me to seek medical attention and tetanus shot.

Post this, I did not attempt another vaccination, which means I can’t have close contact with stray cats, else Mochu can catch deadly infections.

So I went home, changed my clothes for Mochu’s safety.

Next day, I thought of this special trusting cat and I got news about it from a little boy who said he saw the cat that I fed the precious day, but it jumped into the next compound as he was about to touch it!!I did not comprehend this, so did the cat jump out of the flat?, the area post our flat compound was a vacant uninhabited space filled with weeds, it’s not good for cats to be there, fleas and bacteria and stuff like that are abundant there.

That night, I heard horrible cat fight screeching sounds in the next flat where a cat ran on that flat’s compound wall chased by another cat making alarming sounds. I was worried, hoping it’s not my cute little cat buddy that was in trouble!!

The next day got me thinking about the cat, feeling, it was because of that teeth correction outing that I was able to be there at that spot where this cat was in my flat, so it’s not so bad after all. Maybe I can’t find this cat again, making that day a once in a lifetime experience?

Yesterday morning, first thing post my black coffe that I take as a non-milk alternative beverage for me, I went in search for this cat.

I meowed down where I first saw it, with the car cleaning guy in flat wiping cars. I meowed roaming around, post this I gave up and climbed the stairs to the first floor and to my utter delight, there was this brown patched cat about. I meowed, it meowed and I talked and after a while it came closer to me, rolled over exposing its belly, so I went to touch it. I had so many questions for it. Where does it sleep at night, what it does all day, how it manages itself?

It dashed and dashed and rubbed itself on my legs so liberally(: Awww….

I climbed to the fourth floor to my home to get it food, ignoring my home cats - Mochu and Garu and gave this cat some dry food. I noticed a lace was tied to it’s neck as a loose collar, so it’s been cared for here. Soon, a house door opened with an elderly gentleman directing his notice on me as I was petting and feeding the cat. He enquired if I was the person who kept meowing so much and I replied in the affirmative.

He said, he feeds this cat daily biscuits, 3 times a day, since it came to him about 15 days back. A elderly women kept water for the cat and it drank it happily. I was so touched that there are such nice souls today, no wonder this cat trusts humans, because it’s fortunate to have encountered the good side of humanity.

Yesterday morning, I was there for a while as the cat eat, because suddenly the corridor lights were put off, as it became 6am but it was still dark in the corridor. I showed my cell phone light, and I directed the cat to finish the food I got for it, which it did, good cat. Today morning, I could not find the cat. I know it needs to be vaccinated and neutered, for deadly infections for cats are around but the upkeep of my two home cats already taking away my money and time.

I hope this cat does well, blooming with it’s outgoing personality. Although I wanted to click pictures of it, it was not possible because it kept dashing my legs, so I could only take pictures of it eating, the time it took a break from dashing my legs!! I can’t be sure of its gender, for I could not find any visible gender specific organs on it, most likely female or a neutered male. Bless this cat!!
