Caturday - My Days as a Crazy Cat LadysteemCreated with Sketch.

This is my contribution to #caturday...the furry brainchild of @dwigle. ;)

I can't resist posting these pictures from my days as a crazy cat lady (I only have a few hundred more I could share). Over a stretch of several years, momma cats found my yard to be the perfect place to have their babies...not sure why. I guess they knew a sucker when they saw one.

Enjoy!

My friend got me metal cat for inside the house. I placed it by the back door and the cats seemed fascinated by it so, I put it out in the yard for them to investigate.

This little guy was one of the first to grace my yard. What a sweet face.

In just 7 years, one un-spayed female cat and one un-neutered male cat and their offspring can result in 420,000 kittens.

I believe I had just about that many kittens in my yard over the years.

The ancestor of all domestic cats is the African Wild Cat which still exists today.

Fascinating!

The silks created by weavers in Baghdad were inspired by the beautiful and varied colors and markings of cat coats. These fabrics were called \tabby\" by European traders."""

I did not know that...also fascinating.

There are approximately 60,000 hairs per square inch on the back of a cat and about 120,000 per square inch on its underside.

omg I love the pictures. soo adorable

Thanks! Lots of cuteness there to love!
