In the 13th round of the CBA regular season, the Liaoning team (12 wins and 1 loss) triumphed and maintained the lead all the way to win the competition for the top spot. They easily won the Guangsha team 102-94 (11 wins and 2 losses) and finished the regular season with 9 consecutive victories. In the first stage, it firmly ranked first.
