上海市の浦東新区の開発計画には、大規模な国際貿易施設とともに、中国の試験的な中央銀行デジタル通貨（CBDC）であるデジタル人民元の複数のパイロットプロジェクトが含まれているそうなのですが中国はデジタル人民元を全世界に使用してもらいたいのが目的なので今回の積極的活用にも言及するのはあまり驚きませんね。

I heard that the development plans for Shanghai's Pudong New Area include several pilot projects for the digital renminbi, China's pilot central bank digital currency (CBDC), along with a large international trade facility, and since China wants the digital renminbi to be used worldwide, I am not too surprised that they also mention this active use.
