How to detect Fake Silver and Gold❓
So, with gold and silver prices starting to go up and has gone up, it's critical to know what you are really buying and who you are buying from.
There are a few tests for the retail consumer -
- acid metal testing solutions (destructive testing)
- specific gravity (more reliable for small coins and bars than for larger ones)
- sound test for bullion coins, rounds, and bars
- magnetic test for silver

➩ "Why don't you take the silver coin out to photograph them?
Answer:
1 - It is sealed to protect the silver from tarnish - why would I open it and expose them to acid, grease, and moisture? Besides, I do not want to have to open it and then reseal it.
2 - Showing them "as received" provides you more information than showing them after opening them. This additional information is helpful to some - the coins and rounds were packaged differently - you'll see in posts in the future weeks of silver that I bought from them.

I have been a bird charger since the beginning and it's not very glorious lol. I would average about $15 a day when I did it. There is so much competition to find scooters to charge and they have lowered the bounty for charging. My main issue is that you have to deliver the scooters at 4am or you will not find a place nearby to drop them off. If I need $20 to pay a bill I will do it but usually I don't bother anymore.

In a free society, the competition will naturally be fierce - that's obvious.
We all have to view, analyze, and assess each opportunity in reference to what other avenues that might be available.
To some, this can be a lifesaver due to the flexibility that it offers and as an example - as you've said: "If I need $20 to pay a bill I will do it"
One "would not bother with it anymore" if there were better uses of one's time.
I look at this as a possibility to help someone in need but have no other options; nothing better or none at all.
I am on track to be financially independent - round two and this might be a good side business to own.

well, I suppose I could make one. But I haven't been doing it for awhile now. I did a post some months back describing it. I will have to dig it up and share the link. The opportunity isn't readily available for most. I happen to be in the city where the scooters originated so they are plentiful. But, I think we will see the end of them soon. We are much further along in the life cycle of this idea than other cities and I most people here are turning against the idea of scooters. Way too many problems associated with them.
