The night before the big day of Sinulog Festival of the Queen City of the South, the SM City Cebu holds an event that always thrilled the mass Cebuanos and people coming from different regions - THE FIREWORKS COMPETITION with the Theme "Light up the Sky"

It was a perfect moment for me not to miss the enchanting fireworks presentation from different contestants. There are contestants from Luzon and Manila regions and of course one from Cebu.

These are the photos I captured during the show. It was just my attempt to see if taking pictures with smartphone can still preserve the magnificent and elegant display of colors in the sky.

It is the 10th year of SM City Cebu to hold a fireworks competition. Indeed the pyrofest is somehow become a traditional activity of Cebu which brings good attraction to all who are visiting the island of Cebu, especially to all balik-bayans and also to foreign visitors.
