Hi steemit community! π Today, i would like to share the most delicious native rice delicacy here in the Philippines - the "Bibingka" also known as "rice cake".
It is commonly served during different celebrations like fiesta, wedding, and even birthdays.
It is very famous in this country and already known worldwide.
In fact, Philippines achieved a world record having the biggest bibingka served.

Bibingka has a soft spongy texture. It is eaten hot or warm and is slightly sweet with a taste very similar to rice pudding.
Now, let me show you how to make this delicious delicacy π
So these are the ingredients:
*glutinous rice flour
*sugar
*baking powder
*coconut milk
*whole milk or almond milk
*butter or margarine
*eggs
*vanilla
And this is the easy step by step process in making rice cake: we will not be using the native style since we have our modern cooking facilities right now.
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Second, place sugar, 1 can coconut milk, 1 Β½ cups of whole milk or almond milk, Β½ cup butter or margarine, and 1 tsp vanilla extract into the medium sized saucepan or microwaveable container and heat it up.
Third, prepare the glutinous rice flour, eggs, and baking powder and mix it with the wet ingredients presented in the second step. Mix them well until you ahieve a sticky outcome.
Fourth, pour it into the pan.
Lastly, put into oven and bake it for 30 minutes.
And....
This is now our finished product π
You can also add toppings like cheese to add extra flavor. π
Thank you steemit community for reading π
God Bless! π
