An Unexpected Fire
Hello friends today I make my first publication of the new year, I hope you have received a prosperous and blessed new year in the company of your loved ones, for the #celestialchallenge challenge sponsored by @sirknight I have encouraged to show you the wonderful experience I lived in the National Park Canaima - Gran Sabana - venezuela specifically in the Kama Meru camp.
My family and I have always wanted to do something different at Christmas and we have been encouraged for several years to do it.
In the Kama Meru camp Located in the Gran Sabana Venezuela, many people go to receive the new year and stay in Cabañas or in tents as was our case, we had no idea of their traditions and what they do every year from December. My family and I were used to the typical bread of ham, wine and grapes for that day, the greater is our surprise when we see that from very early the inhabitants of that area began to build a huge bonfire with logs collected from the same area.
The Pemones are indigenous South Americans who inhabit the southeastern area of Bolívar state in Venezuela, they are responsible for making this beautiful surprise for tourists who visit them every year.
All tourists and locals who are nearby, can witness this show, standing around the campfire in the form of a circle, also to warm up as it is a very cold ambience and to be awake waiting for the new year the cold increases even more However, this Kama Meru camp is located on the banks of a waterfall 50 meters high.
It is a total spectacle to admire this burning of logs.
They say that the making of this fire is to burn all those bad things that happened in the old year, by burning these logs the ashes are taken by the seeing and therefore all the negative to give a new step to all things new that will bring next year.
Accompanying this burning of logs as a campfire, there is also a fireworks display to make way for the new year, it is really fascinating this place we encourage you to go if you have the opportunity.
