Here is another post of dans about future plans for making it somewhat more democratic. In the future, if I consider you a friend, I may be able to lend you some of my piano skills (sort of)
Frankly if a noob were to do what you just did I trust that dan would warn them not to do it again, or perhaps start putting it into the end of his post as a warning of what you should not comment with. But you knew what would happen and you're making a very small fish of yourself over it.

just because you spent years honing your craft you cant expect to compete with someone that drops 10k down on lessons for 3 days. of corse they are going to get more money for playing the same song.
