No violations of the First Amendment but morally wrong.

It's odd to see libertarians (air quotes) who are supposed to, surprise surprise, defenders of freedom flip on issues of censorship from private companies and make the "Well, it's a private company, it can do what it wants." argument.

Of course, that's technically correct. By banning almost every page and influential profile that's slightly to the Right of Bernie Sanders, Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Apple haven't broken the law or violated the First Amendment. But, do you really think that the conversation ends there and ethics have nothing to do with it?

Libertarians, of all people, should be able to understand that the law doesn't immediately equate to ethical behavior. You can think whatever you want about laws requiring bakers to make gay wedding cakes (I'm against them) and still be openly and vocally critical of the business practices.

This is an ethical issue first. What Facebook, Twitter, Apple and Google are doing right now is morally wrong. Law be damned.

Bingo, and it's not just influential profiles at this point either. They have a double standard going because they are turning themselves into the very echo chambers that they claim to be criticising.
