This is a real in your face censorship folks. The type of censorship that Twitter is using to remove positive replies posted to republican and conservative twitter accounts.
In this case tweets in a thread from @realDonaldTrump's tweets are being "DeThreaded". This form of censorship is unprecedented. The founder and CEO of Gab.ia Andrew Torba caught this new form censorship and coinded the phrase "Dethreading" to describe it. He actually caught the censorship as it was happening in real time to President Donald Trump.

Andrew was able to document the censorship process in this Periscope broadcast... this video shows how replies to a tweet from President Donald Trump are unhooked form the original tweet in order to make the thread somewhat senseless in the remaining threaded responses that are in fact now all negative. As a result it leaves the persons tweet that replied to POTUS tweet in a "Twitter River of Styx" where is meanders alone and without purpose for the life of the Internet. You cannot click on the tweet time-stamp even and find the tweet it was originally attached to. The tweet reply has been DETHREADED.

Once Twitter was finished dethrerading President Donald Trump's tweet seen in this video not one single positive reply tweet was left in response to the Presidents tweet. I can attest that this is not just happening to Trumps' tweets but other conservative accounts as well including James Woods, Ben shapiro Ann Couter and Sean Hannity and I am sure many others I do not frequent enough to see it for myself.
Below is the original tweet I came across that confirmed what I was seeing with many of my own tweets.
One minute they are in the timeline... the next minute they are off swimming somewhere all by themselves.

Welp, how anti-capitalist of them. It seems to me that if a private company is censoring the President's feed, this is a violation of more than just one law. Of course, it also seems to me that if a media company, or a public servant, lies about polity, that should be actionable also.

You know twitter is a private company and I really don't want the state to intervene because they are free to decide who they let speak on their platform.

Twitter has a market share that dictates a monopoly. They have successfully worked with google play store to get gab.ia removed. They are working to steer political thought through censorship.
They are teetering dangerously into Anti-Trust law violations. Granted I want less government intervention EVERYWHERE but when one company has the ability to shut down completely one school of thought it goes beyond dystopian and begins to infringe on the rights of others to even compete in commerce as we are seeig youtube doing through demonetization of strictly conservative accounts.

I can agree with you on this.
My problem is they made it personal when they took away a revenue stream I depended on. Still seeing them fail over pushing an ideology that claims to be inclusive and diverse on the outside yet is restrictive and calls for conformity on the inside deserves to cease from its own cancer.

The best form of media is P2P, the less middlemen the less artificial bs. You should also be able to get rewards from your readers, Steemit is pretty cool in that way, but there are a few hickups you might notice over time.

Oh yes, this happens all right. A few days ago I got "restricted" for 12 hours because apparently I was being "abusive". I have been on Twitter since 2009 and have never been restricted or had anything deleted before. Being restricted means you can post all you want but only your followers will see your tweets.
Why was I "restricted"? Because I was foolishly trying to argue a point with some retarded liberals who apparently think that illegal immigrants should be allowed to attack police and ride the subway for free. And even with them, I was not overly abusive, I was almost attacked by three at once for defending what another woman had said. So they can attack first, troll, bait, etc, and that is fine, but apparently answering back is not allowed?
By the way, this is not just happening on Twitter. It is also happening on Facebook and YouTube. Not to me personally, but I know of plenty of cases where it does happen. A favourite trick of FB is to simply bury the post so far down the timeline that nobody ever sees it. YouTube will remove videos and suspend accounts with zero warning, explanation or apology.
